Machine Operator/Wood Shop Worker

Job Description :

Operate and maintain woodworking machinery. This role will mainly be responsible for flattening wood products on a manual CNC machine to flatten the wood slabs. As well as, be cross trained on wood working operations throughout the shop.

Primary Duties :

Operate and maintain a manual CNC machine, as well as many other woodworking machines, such as planers, sanders, drill presses, table saws, and other hand/power tools.
Assist in the log sawing process & off loading of lumber.
Loading & unloading of the wood kiln.

Qualifications :

Must be able to lift 70-90 lbs. Regular daily lifting probably averages around 40-50 lbs
Must have GREAT work attendance habits
Use a tape measure proficiently to determine dimensions and ensure accuracy
Attention to detail & ability to get work accomplished on your own is essential!
Must possess leadership skills, and the drive to be a leader
Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Spray Booth Operator

Job Description :

Operate and maintain spray booth. Candidate should have experience in spraying. The product that will be sprayed is wood, live edge slabs and lumber for table tops, etc. Attention to detail, and ability to problem solve is a must.

Primary Duties :

Operate and maintain spray booth.

Other Duties :

Operate and tend to many woodworking machines, such as planers, sanders, drill presses, table saws, etc. as well as other hand/power tools.
MUST be able to properly read a tape measure
Sand wood with hand held sanders
Finalize preparation of wood pieces for spray lacquer, as well as other finishes.
Assist in the log sawing process & off loading of lumber
Loading & unloading of wood kiln
