Freight Shipping Information

Our free shipping offer applies to freight terminal pickup orders over $95 within the lower 48 US States. Items labeled 'Freight Item' are typically shipped using LTL Freight Delivery. To take advantage of the free shipping on these items, you can pickup your package at the nearest freight terminal. Please be aware, there are additional charges for deliveries to commercial and residential/limited access addresses. During checkout, you can choose one of these freight options:

  • Freight Terminal Pickup: Avoid scheduling a delivery appointment and pickup your package from your local freight terminal. After you place your order, we will send you an email with the terminal location. If it is farther than you prefer, you can choose to upgrade to Residential Delivery. The freight carrier will call you when your package is ready to be picked up.
  • Commercial Delivery: Select this option if you have a commercial address, such as a business, with a loading dock or equipment to unload the freight from the truck. Schools, churches, or special purpose buildings are not considered Commercial properties.
  • Residential Delivery/Limited Access Addresses: As the receiver you must be available for delivery on the scheduled date and time. This service brings the package to your home, but it is curbside only, and liftgate assistance is only available for an extra fee. You are responsible for unloading the package from the truck and bringing it inside your home. Depending on the package size and weight, you may require assistance or equipment to move it off the freight truck, as the driver does not provide help.

What if my slabs are damaged?

We take great pride, and care with packaging our slabs for safe transit. Although with the nature of shipping, sometimes a package can be damaged during transit. It is important to report any damage to freight items within 3 days of delivery. We assess damage claims on a case-by-case basis to achieve the best possible outcome for your project. As the recipient, you should inspect at least the exterior of the package before signing for it. Any visible issues, such as footprints, gouges, or damaged boards, must be documented on the delivery receipt. Failing to note these details may forfeit your right to file a damage claim.
